A slim figure skated through the rain pouring down about him, hair laid flat against his body. A soft whimper escaped partly open lips at the rumble of thunder that not even being half deaf could block out. He was shivering slightly as he kept on moving, kept on skating. What more could he do?
Tied to his trousers was a bag of food, tied securely in place from a belt loop, and tied closed to protect against getting rain wet. It wasn't much but hopefully it'd do to keep his team going a while longer. Another flinch, another whimper escaped the soaked males lips at a louder thunder crash. He paused to look about, his scarred leg screaming in protest that the cold was causing.
Nearly home, nearly to safety.

A female figure stood in the shadows, holding and umbrella in her hands to shield herself from the pouring rain. She watched the surroundings in silence. It was raining so much; all people had retreated to their houses. Then again, where she was not many people were. She was close to a warehouse and soon she caught sight of a person one rollerskates. Because of the rain she was not able to see whether it was a male or a female.

Hotaka could feel himself tiring the movement of his skates not as smooth now stumbling a bit. "Nearly Home," he whispered to himself. The cold was sapping his strength though he didn't want to admit it. He blinked trying to see through the dull light and the rain that left untidy droplets on the sunglasses. "Nearly home," he whispered again trying to reassure himself.
He cringed a bit at the much louder clap of thunder looking about almost afraid the harsh light of another flash of lightning illuminating the slender frame briefly before it went back to darkness. He couldn't help his yelp as he fell quickly getting back to his feet, if a bit clumsy, struggling with his scarred leg. Slowly he approached the familiar shadowy building of the warehouse, the dull light making his depth perception horrible.

The crimson eyes kept watching the figure. The female stepped out from the shadows and looked after the one on rollingskates. She noticed the person fall and also noticed the person drop something. She slowly began stepping forwards to first of all not be seen but at the same time still stepping forwards so she could keep an eye on where she went to.
She soon reached the place he had fallen and picked up the object the person had dropped before she looked up again.

Struggling to handle the thunder Hotaka hadn't heard the sound of something dropping. Even under normal conditions it was something he struggled with. Slowly he approached the 'door' to the warehouse that served as home pushing aside the heavy rain sodden fabric that hung down skating his way in. He looked about a bit only then removing the sunglasses that covered his eyes rubbing them clean and slowly skating to the heap of old fabric and other soft items he or his team mates had scavenged that served as a bed/seat for him.
Where were the rest of his team mates? Not back yet. He was slowly removing the skates as he thought this cringing in pain as he pulled on the scars again. With that done he started to check he had everything. Food - yeh he had that. Slowly he removed the bag from where he'd tied it to his trousers. Damn this warehouse was cold. Slowly he hunted for the burnable items heaping them up and starting a fire trying to heat the place up.
What else was he carrying, Beyblade? Slowly he worked through his pockets starting to get a bit more panicked before heaving a sigh of relief as his fingers settled around the familiar form placing that under a bit of sacking. Money? Slowly he worked through pockets again "....no..." he growled out realising he'd lost that. When had that dropped and where. He sighed as he had no way of telling.

Aoi looked at worn wallet she had picked up, after she had seen the figure disappear into the warehouse. She stuffed the wallet within her jacket and stepped towards the warehouse, pulling the "door" open and stepping inside before pulling the "door" closed again. She closed her umbrella as she stepped further into the warehouse and looked around.

Hotaka sensed more then heard the movement looking over. Where Aoi was right now he couldn't discern clearly who it was and there was distinct wariness in his movements. Slowly he got to his feet "Who's there?" he called. He already could tell it wasn't one of his own team. They'd have come into the firelight immediately. He was hunting for his blade desperately trying not to make it seem so more then aware the scarring, including the one that kept his blind eye part closed would be visible in the firelight.

"No need to find forth whatever." Aoi spoke as she stepped into the firelight. She stuck her hand within her jacket and pulled out the wallet, "You dropped this in the rain."
Aoi did not seem the slightest intimidated and looked rather calm. Her eyes were half-lidded as she watched Hotaka's movements, even though he was standing in the shadows.

Hotaka looked then wary slowly moving fully into the fire light a discernable limp there. He'd only been able to 'read' the end of the sentance that she'd first spoken more easier reading the next one. Swiftly he moved snatching the wallet back checking all the money was there even as he retreated to the shadows, not even bothering with a thank you.
Indeed he'd forgotten of Aoi's presence, it was no further concern to him, the money was.

Aoi rolled her eyes. Street Bladers. Didn't really surprise her. Well, she knew she had taken no money, and no money had fallen out of the wallet while she had been around so she was not to blame if some money were missing. She looked around the warehouse; obviously more people lived here than this single boy. She stuck her hands in her pockets and began walk a little around.

The movement brought Hotaka's attention straight back on her "....Thank you...." he slowly stated relieved no money was gone hiding that then watching her warily. He longed for his team mates to come back...at least Kane. He was better with people then he was. His eyes glanced about anxiously only one fully focusing. "....d...do you need anything?" he warily asked his speech unsure.

"No. Just curious." Aoi spoke with a loud voice. She was walking with her back to Hotaka, her hands folded behind her back. She could feel and somewhat hear in his voice, how anxious he was, and sighed. She started walking towards the so-called "door" where she picked up her umbrella. She guessed she also needed to find somewhere to stay for the night.
